Never done the MCM. It should be pretty packed with 30K runners :)
Your first marathon is a great experience...make sure to get someone to take lots of pictures. You'll want to remember that particular run for a long time.
Oops...for some reason I thought you were running for MMRF (charity team) There's a small group on that team so I was thinking I'd meet you at the team dinner the night before...You were probably thinking I was a crazy stalkerish person. haha...Anyway,since I probably won't meet you due to the bazillion runners/fans....good luck!!!
Nice pick for a first marathon, you will have a blast (and good luck on the first 20 miler, that is a huge milestone also, better take some Alleve on that flight to the Big D.)
I don't... But I gotta say... I peeked at your schedule and HOLY CRAP... It is far more chaotic than my Oct FO SHO! No excuses for me... your schedule is nuttier and you're still managing to get in all of your workouts!
"Promise yourself to be so strong that nothing will disturb your peace of mind. See the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true. Think only of the best, work only for the best and expect only the best. Forget about the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. Spend so much time on the improvement of yourself that there is no time to criticize others. Live in the faith that the whole world is on your side so long as you are true to the best that is in you." ~ Chistian Dior
"Trust yourself. You know more than you think you do." - Dr. Spock
"Fall in love or fall in hate. Get inspired or be depressed. Ace the test or flunk the class. Make babies or make art. Speak the truth or lie and cheat. Dance on tables or sit in the corner. Life is divine chaos. Embrace it. Forgive yourslef. Breathe. And enjoy the ride. " - Solbeam
Usually when you are running you are running away from something, this time I'm running towards myself. You see, it seems that I've "lost" little pieces of myself along the way (you know how it happens - 1 too many compromises, putting your well being second, trying to make someone else see who you are, ...) and now I'm on a journey back to me.

A Tribute to Mister
This past May I lost my best friend, "Mister Man" the Mastiff. He would have been 10 years old this July, I miss him tons, but I am so thankful for my time with him.
