Where have I been?

Answer - MIA! Seriously, I have been a total slacker. With the time change I have been going to bed WAY TOO EARLY, and doing nothing else. I'm giving myself a few more days to get straightened out.
I did go to Yoga last night, so that's good. Tonight I have a Happy Hour with my Team in Training group, and on Sunday I'm going SHOPPING!!! Somewhere in there I'll do something physical...not sure what.
I went to Physical Therapy yesterday for the knee and ankle, all good news. Just "over use" (ya think? 26.2 miles is over use? not for everyone, but for me it is!)! So I've got some stretches and strengthening exercises to do.
The issue previously known as "the relationship" has come back into play, and nothing has changed. Which makes an even stronger case for "the REAL end". I'm not going to waste anymore blog time on this than I already have, I'll just say this.....it still amazes me that I can let myself get pulled back into it all and be brought down by it, enough already.

glad to hear you're not seriously injured. Getting sucked back into a relationship happens to everyone I think. It's so hard to be around ex's when you're not really dating any more. sorry I have no clue what we're talking about here, but I hope it works itself out for you.

Glad to hear you found a remedy for your injury. Why is it that us women can get sucked back into those relationships? I think it happens to all of us. I hope this works out for the best.

Cheers to a weekend ahead of us! Yay!

I think shopping can be physical! Glad to hear all is going wel with the ankle and leg. Time off for your body to recover is a good thing, your mind needs it too.

Relationships are tough. But, one thing I have learned from a bad one is, that things don't really change.

Injuries are a pain but at least you seem to have found a fix! Relationships have ups and downs but if there are more downs than up - I guess that tells you what to do. Good luck!

You're totally in my head sister. Why is it easier to go back then to start over? Starting over sucks!

Love this song! And good luck with your recovery. I know all about that stuff - not from running though.

Words of Wisdom

"Promise yourself to be so strong that nothing will disturb your peace of mind.
See the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.
Think only of the best, work only for the best and expect only the best.
Forget about the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
Spend so much time on the improvement of yourself that there is no time to criticize others.
Live in the faith that the whole world is on your side so long as you are true to the best that is in you."

"Trust yourself. You know more than you think you do."
- Dr. Spock

"Fall in love or fall in hate. Get inspired or be depressed. Ace the test or flunk the class. Make babies or make art. Speak the truth or lie and cheat. Dance on tables or sit in the corner. Life is divine chaos. Embrace it. Forgive yourslef. Breathe. And enjoy the ride. "
