- Usually when you are running you are running away from something, this time I'm running towards myself. You see, it seems that I've "lost" little pieces of myself along the way (you know how it happens - 1 too many compromises, putting your well being second, trying to make someone else see who you are, ...) and now I'm on a journey back to me.

This past May I lost my best friend, "Mister Man" the Mastiff. He would have been 10 years old this July, I miss him tons, but I am so thankful for my time with him.

Just wanted to wish you the best of luck on YOUR FIRST MARATHON! I only recently completed my first (3 weeks ago). Enjoy the experience! Can't wait to hear about it.
